First note... NOTES:
Fantastic collection of songs in this show!  This is one of my first recordings and I wasn't using the greatest mic available, but with a little tweaking to the EQ, I think the resulting recording here came out quite nicely.  Some highlights include Abe doing all the vocals on Xavier's song "Alone", Arlo goofing up and starting to play "Here We Are / Way Out In The Country" but singing Stealin', and there's a good bit of Sarah Lee Guthrie from early on in her career.  Overall, a great performance by all!

NOTES:
It's a rare opportunity to get the chance to hear Arlo play solo - so it's always a treat, and this night was no different.  Another fantastic night filled with song, and story, and laughter.  For me personally the highlight is hearing everyone sing along on "My Peace" as it sounded so sweet.  Again, not a perfect recording, and I'll admit - the camera beeps were my own.  For some reason my camera was misbehaving and beeping even though I had the beep supposedly turned off.  So those beeps in the recording are mine - but I tried to limit the number I took as a result.  I don't think it detracts from the overall recording all that much.  Also, the Birchmere is a place where you can eat and drink while enjoying the show - and you'll hear some of that as well.

Great little theater and place to see Arlo!  It was a wonderful night filled with song and story by one of the best in the business.  It's not a perfect recording, and I apologize for a few of the coughs as it was very dry and I found myself without any candy or something to sooth my throat. The recording you have here is not a normal concert, but rather a compilation spanning all three nights at the Guthrie Center.  I have tried to keep the continuity of the shows intact - but I did take a few liberties in order to provide a recording covering all three shows as well as condensing it to fit on a 2 CD set.  This is my first time ever putting together a project like this, and I do hope that you enjoy the
